SEATTLE, WA – September 22, 2026 – Ravensburger introduces Hyperia City, a new Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game (TCG) adventure set in a stunning new city where metro meets the fantastical. Hyperia City invites Illumineers to catch musical street performances, visit incredible shops, and take part in the vibrant nightlife. Glimmers from Disney and Pixar’s Coco will debut in this set, delighting the bustling crowds with plenty of bone-tapping tunes. Alongside these beloved characters are plenty of returning favorite glimmers of many Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, and more. But amid all the fun, a new energy source/game mechanic has been discovered: ink drops. Hyperia City prereleases on October 16, 2026 in game stores and select Disney Parks and stores, and then will be available everywhere on October 23rd.

Nothing showcases the handcrafted artwork in the Disney Lorcana TCG better than the set’s Enchanted cards. Each shows just how fun a night out on the town can be: from an unforgettable concert moment to burning the midnight oil working on a passion project. The two Iconic cards, the rarest in the game, also adopt the style with Mickey Mouse – Best in Town (previously revealed at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event) and Cinderella – Unintentional Icon.
Each of the cards in Hyperia City depicts glimmers in different neighborhoods and boroughs, such as the City Center, Wandering Straits, and Old Towne Hyperia. There’s also the Marigold District, where glimmers from Disney and Pixar’s Coco put on a couple of melodious street performances. On the edge of the city is the Multidisciplinary Academy for Genius, Imagination, and Creativity (M.A.G.I.C.), where glimmers from Disney’s Big Hero 6, like Honey Lemon, are busy researching and experimenting with the new ink drop technology. A new game mechanic introduced in Hyperia City, ink drops are a counter providing players a one-time-use ink they can spend to play cards from their hand or potentially empower other cards.
"Ink drops can completely change the tempo of a game," said Lukas Litzsinger, Lead Game Designer at Ravensburger on the Disney Lorcana TCG. “We really wanted to focus in on a single mechanic in this set, and we're excited to see how players will experiment with using them in their decks."
Ravensburger shared more information on Into the Inkdark, the first set to be released in 2027. A Hades glimmer is up to something sinister in the depths beneath the realm of Lorcana, and he’s got some fiery ambitions that may cause a new threat to rise. Into the Inkdark also introduces a brand-new product: collector boosters. These boosters will be available at select Ravensburger Play Hub stores as well as Disney Parks and stores.
Collector boosters are perfect for anyone hunting for the rarest (and shiniest) cards. While both booster packs and collector boosters contain 12 randomized cards of all rarities, the new Illustrious cards are exclusive to collector boosters. Illustrious cards are the first serialized Disney Lorcana TCG cards. They boast bespoke art by popular artists, illustrated in their unique styles, and feature amazing embellishments including a prominent artist credit. There will be 6 Illustrious cards in each set, and only 23 of each will be printed.
That’s not all. In Spring 2027, Illumineers and their glimmers will blast off on a Cosmic Quest. As players join this golden age of cosmic exploration, they may encounter glimmers of Ariel and Flounder, Stitch and his fellow alien experiments, and, for the very first time, glimmers of WALL•E and EVE. And looking even further into the future, come late 2027, a certain magical mayhem will be released across the realm.
